Thanks for the thoughtful reply! I’m impressed you read this at 17 (and in 8 days!?). I definitely wouldn’t have enjoyed or understood it at that age.

I, too, watched the movie, and I found it underwhelming and a tad strange. Still, I had fun watching it if only because I got to spend a bit more time thinking about the book and see a differently imagined version of it.

I haven’t picked up Foucault’s Pendulum yet, partly because of how daunting everyone makes it seem (your words don’t help!). I’ll get there one day…
